Gingold Theatrical Group, which presents the monthly Project Shaw series, has announced a new play development program.

“The After Party,” billed as “an informal social gathering for the theatrically inclined,” welcome Grease ’s Natalie Hill and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee ’s Kevin Smith Kirkwood Nov. 30.

Daniel Reichard, who will play his final performance in Broadway’s Jersey Boys Jan. 6, 2008, will go it solo at the Metropolitan Room a few weeks prior.

Further casting has been announced for the U.K. premiere of David Hare’s The Vertical Hour , which opens at London’s Royal Court on Jan. 22, 2008, following previews that begin Jan. 18.

Desperately Seeking Susan , the musical set to Blondie’s back catalogue and based on the 1985 movie of the same name, will close on Dec. 15, just one month after the show’s opening night at the West End’s Novello Theatre.

Busker Alley , which was scheduled to arrive on Broadway in 1995 before star Tommy Tune broke his foot, is gearing up for another stab at Broadway.

David Wright Crawford’s poignant story of a West Texas cotton farmer, Harvest , makes its Off-Broadway debut Nov. 30 at the Alchemy Theatre Company.
