A lot has been going on on Broadway since our last post. Well-reviewed musicals “South Pacifc” and “In the Heights” won tons of Tonys and now, tickets are almost impossible to get. Good things are coming to Broadway too, like “Billy Elliot,” “Equus,” and “A Tale of Two Cities.” Get tickets to these shows early as the prices on the secondary market are sure to climb once review come out.

If you are headed to NYC and looking to see a Broadway show the hottest currently are Wicked, South Pacific, the Lion King and Grease. If you are headed to Broadway in the fall, good shows coming up include Equus, Billy Elliot and a Tale of Two Cities.

“This site last week made the not-too-risky prediction that author Tracy Letts‘ August: Osage County would win the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the first title with a colon to win since 1993’s Angels in America: Millennium Approaches. The playwright, as well as his producers, were not willing to comment on the play’s chances of winning prior to the announcement, but you can bet they’ll be yakking up the news from now on!
